Understanding your ADHD.
Embrace your strengthes.
Create a life that works.

Being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult can be challenging. Suddenly the things we have struggled with begin to make sense- planning, time management, prioritising and more.

Sometimes what is missing is how to start addressing them so we can live the lives we always thought we could.

Coaching is an opportunity for you to work with a thinking partner who will explore your strengths and challenges. Together we will learn about your ADHD brain. Based on your unique strengths we will develop strategies that work best for you.

About

Kate Dawson

Founder, Embracing Your ADHD

I am Kate -an ADHD coach who is passionate about supporting adults with ADHD who are diagnosed later in life, particularly women. Through Embracing Your ADHD, I help people better understand how their brains work and develop practical strategies that build on their strengths.

As a late-diagnosed woman with ADHD myself, I understand the mix of feelings that can come with discovering ADHD in adulthood. My own journey involved learning as much as I could about ADHD and working with professionals, but it was ADHD coaching that truly helped me make meaningful changes in my life.

Alongside my lived experience, I bring more than 30 years of professional experience working in human resources in the Australian Public Service.

My coaching approach is compassionate, person-centred and strengths-based. I aim to create a supportive space where you can better understand your ADHD and build strategies that help you create the life you want.

About

I offer coaching sessions to people who were diagnosed as adults. I help you to understand how ADHD impacts you. This helps us to work together to build the life you want.

Meeting other people with people with ADHD provides a needed sense of community.  These quarterly groups are designed to build a community.  It is a place where you can connect with others and share ideas and strategies or simply have fun with your people!
